About Us

Blue Steel Blues Society is a non-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established in January 2021 in Northwest Indiana. Our goal is to help promote, sustain, and educate as many people as we can when it comes to Blues music and all its amazing forms. We also help a wide variety of musicians in promotion, events, etc. Blue Steel Blues Society hosts a monthly jam on the last Sunday of the month at Leroy’s Hot Stuff(Porter,IN)

7 PM CST. We bring in a special guest to kick things off and then have an open jam hosted by Kenny Kinsey. We are working on different programs including “Blues School” for musicians and a future “Blues in School” program! We also host touring musicians at events when we can!

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP: $45.00

Bundle (up to 2 members)

Family Members are spouses or two domestic partners living in the same home. They are entitled to all BSBS rights and privileges, two votes in elections and both may hold offices simultaneously. Children of these Members, under 18 years of age and living at home, shall enjoy membership privileges to the extent that they are offered, but are not eligible to vote or to hold office.

BAND MEMBERSHIP: $50.00

Attention Bands!! If you are joining as band, please follow up with an email to bluesteelbluessociety@gmail.com Include your band name, logo, website, preferred photo, and contact email address. We need this in order to list you on our Band page.

• 1 year membership in BSBS.

• 1 Monthly Spotlight Show listed on our Facebook page and website.

• Monthly Spotlight Show in BSBS newsletter and logo on the banner we display at all events for one year.

• Receive BSBS E-newsletter.

• Discounted tickets to select BSBS-sponsored concerts, seminars, & events.

• Listing on our Bands page, with photo or logo, contact info, and link to your website.

• Eligible for consideration to compete in International Blues Challenge (IBC) events at which a competition is held where a winning solo/duo and band will represent us in Memphis for the challenge.

• Membership voting privilege and discounts for band contact.

SPONSORING MEMBER: $100.00
